In the Parable of the Sower, Jesus contrasts the yields of seed sown in different types of soil. In his explanation of the parable Jesus describes the many influences, both positive and negative that can influence how the Good News takes roots and comes to fruitfulness in people's lives.
A Catholic school culture that provides opportunities for students to receive and respond to God's Word, to grow in relationship with Jesus as disciples, is like the good soil in the parable of the Sower that produces amazing yields of wheat.
